古罗马被释奴隶产生的原因探析

摘　　要：纵观整个古罗马时期,被释奴隶产生的原因主要有四个方面。首先,被释奴隶的产生是广大奴隶主追逐经济利益的结果;第二,被释奴隶的产生是罗马统治阶层进行政治斗争、维护统治的需要;第三、被释奴隶的产生是古罗马保卫国家安全的特殊产物;最后,个别奴隶主为了满足文化娱乐方面的需要或者从道义出发来释放奴隶。Looking through the entire period of Ancient Roman,there are mainly four reasons for releasing slaves.Firstly,the extensive slave owners dream of chasing economic benefits;Secondly,it results from the need of ruling class＇s performing political struggle and sustaining their rule;Thirdly,it is the outcome of Rome＇s wanting to protect national security;Last but not in the least,individual slave owners wish to meet their cultural entertainment or in terms of morality.
