摘　　要：袁世凯任直隶总督期间,对改良和发展农业非常重视,在其大力倡导和推动下,直隶农业在清末发生了明显的发展变化,主要表现为:一是通过建立农业行政机关、发展新式农业教育、开展农业科学试验、设立农会组织,使直隶的农业出现了前所未有的新变化;二是通过发展林业、蚕桑业、棉业,兴修水利及开荒垦地等,使直隶传统的农务事项有了比较明显的发展。During his governing of Zhili province,Yuan Shikai is keen on reforming agriculture.Consequently,great changes take place.Agricultural administrative organizations are set up to launch new agricultural education,scientific experiments,and agricultural associations.Moreover,forestry,silkworm,cotton,and water conservation projects are pushed forward.All this helps with the development of the agriculture then.
