摘　　要：连字符复合词是一种极为活跃的词汇类别,它广泛而又灵活地运用于英语语言中,体现了词汇的创造性。掌握其构成规律、重音规则及功能有利于语言学习者更深地理解词汇的构成特色,满足新时代人们对新信息的需求。Hyphenated compound words is a very active vocabulary category. They have been widely and flexibly used in English language, and reflect the creativity of vocabulary. To master its word building laws, stress rules and functions will be useful for language learners to understand the features of vocabulary construction deeply, and to meet people＇s needs for new information in an new age.
