西洋南瓜新品种红栗2号的选育

摘　　要：为了选育优质红皮西洋南瓜良种,以从引进南瓜品种分离后代中选育的自交系HP-35为母本、JP-1为父本进行杂交,育成了优质、丰产西洋南瓜新品种红栗2号。经品种比较试验、多点试验和生产示范,结果表明:该品种全生育期110d,春季栽培果实发育期约45d;果实高扁圆形,果皮红色,果肉橙红色,肉厚约3.8cm,质粉味甜。平均单果质量2.7kg,667m2产量3000kg左右。坐果性好,生长势强,耐低温、高温,抗病性强,适应性广。适宜全国各地栽培。Hongli No.2 is a new hybrid squash（Cucurbita maxima） cultivar with high quality and red skin.It was developed using inbred HP-35 as female and JP-1 as male parent.The whole growing period is about 110 d and the fruit development is about 45 d from flowering.The fruit is oblate shaped with red skin.The flesh thickness is 3.8 cm.The flesh color is orange and the flesh is fine and sweet.The average fruit weight is 2.7 kg,and 667 m2 yield is about 3 000 kg.The cultivar showed good fruit set,high plant vigor,tolerant to cold and hot temperature and good adaptability in multi-location and multi-season trials.It can be used for commercial production in most winter squash production areas in China.
