摘 要:通过X射线衍射及磁测量手段研究了Gd2Fe14Cr3化合物的热膨胀性质及本征磁致伸缩性质。研究结果表明,Gd2Fe14Cr3化合物在294~692K范围内,具有单相的Th2Zn17型菱方相结构;磁测量的研究结果表明,Gd2Fe14Cr3化合物的居里温度约为540K,比其母合金Gd2Fe17高约30K;在452~512K温度范围内Gd2Fe14Cr3化合物具有负热膨胀性质,其热膨胀系数为-1.6×10^-5/K;对本征磁致伸缩的研究结果表明,Gd2Fe14Cr3化合物中存在着较强的各向异性的本征磁致伸缩,而且由实验数据可以看出对体磁致伸缩的贡献主要发生在c轴上。The thermal expansion behaviors and spontaneous magnetostrictive of Gd2Fe14 Cr3 compound have been studied by means of X-ray diffraction and magnetization measurements. The results show that the Gd2Fe14 Cr3 compound has a hexagonal Th2Zn17-type structure from the temperature 294K to 692K,the Curie temperature of Gd2Fe14Cr3 compound is about 540K,the value is 30K higher as compared to the Gd2Fe17compound. The Gd2Fe14Cr3 compound has negative thermal expansion in the temperature range 452-512K, the value a is -1.6×10^-5 /K,and the results of magnetostrictive show that the spontaneous magnetostrictive of Gd2Fe14Cr3 compound is anisotropy, the spontaneous volume magnetostrictive deformation ws comes mainly from the contribution of the spontaneous linear magnetostrletive deformation λc along the c axis .
