摘　　要：将智能客户端(Smart Client)和GIS进行融合,提出一种基于智能客户端的GIS体系框架,充分利用Web服务所提供的应用程序,依靠服务器端Web服务的支持,实现了数据的安全访问、便捷的部署和智能更新,并能实现数据离线处理。以岷江流域水资源管理信息系统为例,验证了系统模块的功能和运行流程。A Smart Client-based GIS framework was put forward based on the theory of Smart Client and GIS.Secure access to data,convenient deployment and smart update were implemented by taking full advantage of the WEB application and WEB services carried out by the server,and off-line data processing could also be realized.The functions of system modules and operating process were validated by a case study of the information system for water resources management in Minjiang River Valley.
