摘　　要：《摩尔·弗兰德斯》是英国小说家丹尼尔.笛福的一部主要作品,它塑造了一个流浪妇女的形象。在这部作品里,笛福以一个作家特有的敏锐和良知,描绘了孤独的个人在荒凉的环境中为生存而作的斗争。它不仅启发读者去思考其中的道德价值,更引发了对宗教的反思。小说中充斥着物质主义、基督教现代性、言论自由和渎神表现,体现了时代的特征。本文将从社会形式和个人行为两方面对基督教世俗化的这些核心问题进行探讨。Moll Flanders is one of the most important works of Daniel Defoe,which relates a life story about a picaro female character.As a writer with sharp insight and consciousness,Defoe describes a lonely woman’s struggle for survival in the wilderness.The book not only inspires the readers over the morality values,but also reflects the other side of religion.This paper probes the secularization of Christianity from individual and institutional layers manifested in Moll’s marriages and confession,priests’action and the governess’s confession,which demonstrate the core issues of secularization,that is,materialism,modernity,freethinking and blasphemy.
