摘　　要：元数据是数字图书馆建设的关键技术,也是数字图书馆进行知识组织和管理的工具。从元数据的定义、格式、编码语言、应用等方面入手,探讨了元数据在数字图书馆资源组织管理方面的规范,提出了元数据在数字图书馆建设中应注意的问题。Metadata is the key technology of digital library,which is the tool of the organization and management of library.In this paper,starting from the definition,formats,coding languages and the metadata applications,the standards in the digital resources organization management were explored and the issues of metadata application in the digital library construction were proposed.
