摘　　要：《金瓶梅》是一部奇书,这样一部奇迹般的文学作品,在很长的历史阶段内,没有得到充分的认识。"五四"前后,《金瓶梅》研究没有出现一个在我们想象当中可能出现、应该出现的与"五四"精神相一致的研究的新局面。在《金瓶梅》的研究历史上,它真正的繁荣期出现在20世纪80年代以后。衡量一门学问繁荣昌盛的主要标志有两条:一是它所需要的基本资料的整理出版,二是出现一大批著作、论著。《金瓶梅》的研究,也就是金学,正是朝着这样一个昌盛繁荣的目标,在不断地前进,不断地为学术事业做出贡献。Jin Ping Mei is a miracle.However,this miraculous work had not been fully recognized in quite a long historical period.Right before and after the ＂May Fourth Movement＂,a new situation in Jin Ping Mei study which we imagine might and should appear in line with the ＂May Fourth＂ spirit actually didn＇t emerge.The real flourishing of Jin Ping Mei study only started in the 1980s.Two signs symbolize the flourish of a subject of study： one is the compilation and publication of the basic materials needed in the study,the other is the appearance of a large body of works,commentaries on the study.Studies on Jin Ping Mei are right marching towards this target,leaving behind a huge legacy of academic contributions.
