摘　　要：在医学期刊参考文献与检索期刊中,文献出处的刊名往往采用英文缩写形式著录.本文主要对英文刊名的一般缩写规则及还原方法作简单介绍,以供读者、作者在检索及编写英文刊名时参考.In the reference of medical periodicals,the titles of source periodicals are usually in abbreviation in English.In this paper,some rules of abbreviating titles of periodicals published in English and methods to revert their original titles are introduced for readers and authors in refering and compiling the names of English periodicals.
