摘　　要：以广占63S-2为母本,以P88S为父本杂交,经过5 a 8代系谱选择,育成了育性稳定,败育彻底,育性转换临界温度较低(23.5℃),株叶形态好,穗大粒多,抗性较好,米质优,配合力高,异交结实率高的光温敏不育系紫广8S,2009年通过江西省农作物品种审定委员会审定。Derived from the cross of Guangzhan 63S-2（as the female） and P88S（as the male）,Ziguang 8S is a new photo-thermo-sensitive genetic male sterile（PTGMS） line in indica rice.It shows the characteristics of complete and stable male sterility with 100% of sterile plants and pollen sterility,low critical temperature（23.5℃）,good plant type,big panicles with many spikelets,good blast resistance,good grain quality,high combining ability and favorable outcrossing habits.It was approved for commercialization by Jiangxi Provincial Crop Variety Release Committee in 2009.
