摘  要:设计了一种应用于无线传感器网络RF射频前端芯片的可编程增益放大器(PGA)。该放大器由三级增益单元级联构成,每级单元均带直流漂移校正功能,7位数字端控制增益变化,且可灵活切断单级电源,降低PGA整体功耗。设计基于SMIC 0.18μm 1.8 V 1P6 M CMOS工艺。流片测试结果表明,该放大器工作性能良好,动态范围为0~60 dB,1 dB步进,增益以dB线性变化,最大可校正输入直流漂移为200 mV,直流漂移校正时间约为10μs,带宽为6 MHz,整体功耗仅为1.8 mW。A programmable gain amplifier(PGA) was designed for RF front-end circuits of large-scale wireless sensor network.The amplifier was composed of three serial stages,each of which had the function of DC-offset correction.7 digital bits were used to control gain change,and flexibly cut off the power of a single stage,so as to reduce the total power consumption.The circuit was implemented in SMIC's 0.18 μm 1.8 V CMOS process.Measurement results showed that the PGA,which performed properly,had a dynamic range of 0~60 dB with 1-dB step resolution,and the gain changed in linear-in-dB.The DC-offset cancellation,which took about 10 μs,enabled the PGA to tolerate an input offset voltage up to 200 mV.The bandwidth of the PGA was 6 MHz,and total power consumption was 1.8 mW.
