摘  要:利用离子交换技术在玻璃基片上制作的集成光功分器具有工作波长范围宽,结构紧凑,环境稳定性好等特性,适宜批量化生产,成本更低。近年来,玻璃基离子交换光波导器件制备技术逐步发展成熟,基于该技术的集成光功分器的关键技术指标已经满足光通信网络应用的需求,并且在价格上具有很强的竞争力。介绍了玻璃基离子交换光波导制作原理以及玻璃基集成光功分器的技术发展现状,重点介绍了浙江大学在集成光功分器研制与开发方面的工作,包括专用玻璃材料的研制,离子交换技术的改进以及光功分器的结构设计,并报道了对集成光功分器的性能测试结果。Glass-based ion-exchanged optical power splitters posses several excellent characteristics, including wide working wavelength range, compact structure, good environmental stability, suitable of batch production and potential low-cost thereby. With the mature development of glass ion-exchange technology in recent years, glass-based integrated optical splitters can meet the requirements of optical communication network in terms of key performance parameters, and most attractively, they show the strong competitive power in the respect of production cost. In this paper, a brief overview was given on the principle and state- of-the-art of glass-based integrated optical power splitter technology, and then an introduction was given on engineering-oriented research of glass-based optical power splitters at Zhejiang University, including development of specific glass substrate materials for ion exchange, modification of ion exchange technology and layout design of optical power splitters. In addition, the performance testing results of optical power splitters is given.
