It is becoming increasingly common for parents from Asian countries (most commonly China) to fly to the United States to look after their grandchildren. People jokingly call them "feiyong," which literally means "flying servants." The children's grandmothers, who are generally better at housework than the kids' grandfathers, are often more Welcomed by their children. Most of the "feiyong" are happy to help their children with the housework - and take care of their children. Do these elderly Chinesehave a difficult time adjusting to their new environment? Do they enjoy love and happiness? What do Americans think about Chinese people's strong family ties?
