摘　　要：采用文献资料、专家咨询及逻辑分析等方法,研究了湘西民族地区体育旅游产业开发的优势与劣势,积极寻求湘西民族地区体育旅游业发展的相关策略,以促进湘西民族地区体育与旅游经济的快速和谐发展。Literature review,expert consultation and logical analysis are employed in this paper to discuss the feature and classification of sports tourism,research the prons and cons of the sports tourism industry development in west Hu＇nan ethnic minority regions and seek strategies for the development to finally promote the quick and harmonious development of sports and tourism in west Hu＇nan ethnic minority regions.
