摘　　要：循环活性污泥系统（ ＣＡＳＳ） 是一种具有脱氮除磷功能的以序批曝气非曝气方式运行的充放式间隙活性污泥处理工艺。它以设置生物选择器、运行容积可变及实现同步硝化和反硝化为其工艺特征，从而具有一系列的优点。分析介绍了ＣＡＳＳ工艺的运行、特征、工艺设计要点及应用情况。Cyclic Activated Sludge System(CASS) is a batch fill and draw activated sludge process operated in sequences of aeration and non aeration which can effectively remove nitrogen and phosphorus. It is characterized by a series of features such as the design of the biological selector in the reactor,operation in variable volume manner and the simultaneous nitrification and denitrification.This paper discussed the operational principles,characteristics,main points for process design and the practical applications of CASS,and some problems which should be considered in applying this process in China were put forward.
