摘 要:应用相对定位方法, 对张北-尚义地震序列的主震和ML≥3.0 余震重新精确定位。得出:张北-尚义地震序列的主震位置为北纬41.15°, 东经114.46°, 位于宏观震中的北东方向约4 km处, 震源深度15 km 。余震震源分布在北东约20°的近乎垂直的平面内及其附近。张北-尚义地震序列的重新精确定位的结果。On January 10, 1998, an earthquake w ith m agnitude ML= 6.2 occurred in Zhangbei- Shangyiarea, about 180 km to the NW ofBeijing. This earthquake caused severe dam age in the epicentralarea. To understand the seism ogenic structure ofthis earthquake, a rela- tive relocation technique is used to relocate the hypocentrallocations ofthe m ain shock and the aftershocks w ith m agnitude ML≥3.0. The relocation results obtained indicate thatthe epicenter of the m ain shock is: 41.15°N, 114.46°E, w hich is about4 km apartfrom the m acro-epicenterofthisevent.The focaldepth ofm ain shock is about15 km .The hypocen- ters of the Zhangbei-Shangyi earthquake sequence distribute in a nearly vertical plane striking NE 20°and its vicinity. The spatialdistribution of the Zhangbei-Shangyiearth- quake sequence revealed by relocation results clearly exhibits that the seism ogenic struc- ture of this event is a nearly verticalS—N to SSW—NNE strike fault w hich is a m ainly right-lateralstrike-slip faulting w ith m inor reverse com ponent.
