摘　　要：On the basis of researehes on formulas containing Genseng and their indications in books Treatise on Exogenous Febrile Diseases and Variorum on Synopsis of Golden Cabinet compiled by Zhang Zhongjing,the effect,growing area and form of Genseng were studied in association with the statements of successive physicians.It was revealed that the Genseng used in Zhongjings formulas seem to be codonopsis in rather than gensengOn the basis of researehes on formulas containing Genseng and their indications in books Treatise on Exogenous Febrile Diseases and Variorum on Synopsis of Golden Cabinet compiled by Zhang Zhongjing,the effect,growing area and form of Genseng were studied in association with the statements of successive physicians.It was revealed that the Genseng used in Zhongjings formulas seem to be codonopsis in rather than genseng in
