摘　　要：当前VirtuoZo是在测绘及地理信息专业中广泛使用的全数字摄影测量软件,该软件的地形图符号库是依据国家标准地形图图式中的符号库创建的,因此该软件在一些特殊行业(如电力、军事等)的应用中,存在其地形图符号库与特殊行业对于地形图符号的需求不相适应的情况。本文结合实例详细介绍了如何在VirtuoZo中设计和创建地形图符号。VirtuoZo is the currently widely used digital photogrammetry software in mapping and geographic information fields.The topographic symbol library of the software is created based on the symbol library in the cartographic symbols for national standard maps.So in a number of specific industries（such as the electric power,military,etc.） applications,there is the incompatible situation between topographic symbol library and special industry needs for the topographic map symbols.In this paper,examples are described in detail to design and create VirtuoZo topographic symbols.
