摘  要:针对光速可控情况下信息的传播速度问题,提出利用非解析点方法测量掺Er3+光纤(EDF)中慢光和超光速情况下的信息速度。实验结果表明,可以通过调节泵浦光功率来控制慢光或者超光速传播的群速度,由于信息的传递速度不受群速度的影响,在我们测量精度内,非解析点代表的信息速度不会超过真空中的光速。Optical fiber is the main medium of modern optical communication.Light velocity manipulation was a new technique in recent years in optical fibers and this new technique is a possible way to enhance the efficiency and capacity of optical communication system and simplify it also in the future.With the development of the researches on controllable light velocity in optical fiber,some basic issues shoud be solved.One of them is the so-called "information speed".In this work,the authors measured the information speed under slow and fast light condition in erbium doped optical fiber by the most accepted nonanalytical point method.The experimental results demonstrated that although we can control the group velocity of light in optical fiber by adjusting the pump intensity the information speed would not change with the group velocity.In our measurement,the information speed of the nonanalytical point is always smaller than the light speed in a vacuum c.
