摘　　要：使用参数控制（ Ｕ Ｐ Ｃ） 是 Ａ Ｔ Ｍ 网络流量控制的一个重要手段。文章从研究对 Ｕ Ｐ Ｃ 的要求出发，分析了几种 Ｕ Ｐ Ｃ 监测机制，并给出了它们的实现方法。另外还比较了 Ｕ Ｐ Ｃ 机制对违约信元采取的几种警管措施，指出了它们的优缺点，并在此基础上提出了一种新的警管想法。Usage Parameter Control is one of important ways of flow control for ATM networks. In this paper, requirements on UPC mechanism are proposed first, and some UPC monitor mechanisms and their implementations are provided. Some policing methods are also compared, and their drawbacks are indicated. At last a new type of policing mechanism is suggested.
