摘 要:克隆动物是目前生物技术领域研究的热点之一,其科学意义和应用价值重大。根据现有理论和技术发展趋势,本文提出了转基因克隆动物的概念,即将克隆动物与转基因克隆动物技术有机地结合起来,认为转基因克隆动物制作技术将有望成为下一世纪创建遗传工程动物的主导性技术。Applications of animal transgenesis has been emerging in both agriculture and medicine, ranging from disease modeling, breeding, exploring gene function and developemental regulation,xenotransplantation, to bioreactors for therapeutical proteins since early 1980s'.However,progress is obstacled by inefficiency of current methods for production of transgenic animals. Research in animal cloning experienced no important breakthrough until the birth of “Dolly” cloned from the mammary gland cells of an adult sheep. The success of somatic cell cloning provides promising opportunity to fasten practical application of transgenesis through combination of transgenics at stage of somatic cell culture and subsequent cloning of transgenic comatic cell.Transgenic & cloned animal (TC animal) is an entirely new concept of genetically animal, which is supposed to result from proper combination between animal trangenics and animal cloning .It becomes possible to get genetic modification of animals and propagation of engineered animals with the highest efficiency and within the shortest time .On the basis of cloned gene and constructed transgene with selectable marker, somatic cells of various tissues from adult animals are being used to transfect with transgene DNA. the transfencted somatic cells will be employed as nuclei donor for direct cloning.
