Fe_3O_4含量对Pt/C电催化剂氧还原活性的影响

摘  要:研究了Fe3O4含量对Pt/C电催化剂氧还原活性的影响。采用共沉淀和乙酸乙酯预处理等方法制备了Fe3O4和碳包裹Fe3O4纳米粒子,并利用超声喷涂等方法制备了Fe3O4/C-Pt/C电极。X射线衍射(XRD)、透射电镜(TEM)结果表明:Fe3O4和碳包裹Fe3O4纳米粒子分布均匀,粒径分别为11.2 nm和14.3 nm。TEM结果表明:Fe3O4/C在Pt/C电极表面很好分散。循环伏安曲线和线性伏安曲线测试表明:适量的Fe3O4的加入能够提高Pt的分散度,增加催化剂的活性位,提高氧的阴极还原活性。其中,Fe3O4(质量分数为7%)具有最好的氧还原活性(0.401 mV,vs.Hg/HgO),氧起始还原电位比Pt/C提高了大约30 mV,而且具有最大的峰电流密度11.42 mA/cm2。Tafel曲线测试结果表明:Fe3O4的加入能促进氧的四电子还原反应。In this paper,the effect of different contents of Fe3O4 on the oxygen reduction activity was studied.Fe3O4 and carbon coated Fe3O4(Fe3O4/C) were prepared by co-precipitation method and ethyl acetate pretreatment.Fe3O4/C was sprayed onto the Pt/C electrode surface to form the cathode.X-ray diffraction(XRD) and transmission electron microscopy(TEM) results show that Fe3O4 and carbon-coated Fe3O4 nano-particles(Fe3O4/C) are distributed evenly with particle size of 11.2 nm and 14.3 nm,respectively.TEM images show that electrode surfaces with Fe3O4 /C is better dispersed than that Pt/C only.Cyclic voltammetry and linear voltammetry tests show that the appropriate amount of Fe3O4 can improve the oxygen reduction reaction(ORR) activity.Especially,ORR is the best when the amount of Fe3O4 is 7%.Initial oxygen reduction potential and maximum current density of Fe3O4/C-Pt/C(Fe3O4 7%) is 0.401 mV(vs.Hg/HgO) and 11.42 mA/cm2,improving about 30 mV and 1.77 mA/cm2 compared with Pt/C.Tafel curves demonstrate that Fe3O4 can promote 4-electron oxygen reduction reaction.
