摘　　要：阐述了重型机械行业在国家建设中的主要作用,介绍了21世纪以来我国重型机械行业取得的主要成就,经济指标统计数据、进出口贸易情况、固定资产的投资、行业技术成果、行业服务领域的拓展情况、企业重组和信息化建设成果等显示了我国重型机械行业进入良性发展阶段。同时,分析了重型机械行业快速发展的成因,并提出了行业的发展思路:重机企业在国家政策和市场指导下进行产业结构调整,逐步走上创新发展的道路。The paper expounds the main role played by the heavy machinery industry in national construction and, describes the main achievements made in the heavy machinery industry since 21^st century, such as statistical data for economical indicators, import and export trade, fixed assets investment, industrial technical achievements, development of industry service field and enterprise reorganization as well as informationization building results. All these achievements show that heavy machinery industry enters a sound development phase. The paper also analyzes the causes for fast development in the heavy machinery industry and put forward the development concept for the industry; the industrial restructuring should be made for the heavy machinery enterprises in the light of national policies and oriented by market so as to gradually move to the path of innovation and development.
