摘　　要：随着嵌入式GIS的不断发展,GIS的功能也不断完善,但一幅地图的数据量很大,不能把地图的信息全部显示在屏幕区域,因此提出了一种利用数据压缩算法减少数据存储空间和改进的QR树算法建立空间索引的方法,改善了嵌入式GIS地图的显示效果。With the development of embedded GIS technology,the function of GIS has been improved,but the volume of data is still large,which has caused us not to show all of the information in the equipment screen at a time,so make use of data compression algorithm to reduce storage space and modified QR-tree named QR-tree to build the spatial index,in order to improve the showing efficiency of embedded GIS maps.
