摘 要:根据二维模拟中电子束在调制腔中所需要的微波场,采用三维电磁场模拟软件进行调制腔的三维设计。在相对论速调管放大器中输入微波的馈入调制腔内,其作用场为TM01模;由于调制腔需要从外部馈入微波,通常为一种较复杂的三维结构。通过三维带电子束的电磁场模拟,验证了三维设计调制腔在给定输入功率条件下对电子束的调制效率及其三维设计。In the paper, the "cold" cavity is designed by a 3D electromagnetic software to provide the corresponding radio frequency (RF) field, which is required in the 2D particle in cell (PIC)simulation (with the electron beam). Though the rf field is TM01 mode in the modulation cavity in a relativistic klystron amplifier, the structure of the cavity is the 3D one because a special connection is needed between the seeding rf source and the cavity. So the 3D design of a modulation cavity is necessary. The designed cavity is tested in the 3D PIC simulation, then the electron beam is modulated in the cavity, and the modulation can meet the requirement for the 2D PIC simulation.
