哈佛捐赠的数量与科南特的名言——兼论高等教育研究存在的问题

摘　　要：本文以"哈佛捐赠的数量"和"科南特的名言"为案例,初步分析了高等教育研究存在的三个问题:科学精神缺失、研究规范忽视和研究态度粗疏。作者认为,科学精神和学术规范是学科发展的根基。如果高等教育学学术共同体不注重科学精神的追求和学术规范建设,那么就不可能推动这一学科进一步走向成熟并赢得学术界应有的尊重,当然也不可能真正承担起为高等教育改革实践服务的使命。By analyzing the cases of ＂the number of John Harvard＇s donation＂ and ＂James Bryant Conant＇s saying＂,the author identifies three problems on academic rules in higher education research,i.e.lack of scientific spirit,negligence of research rules and carelessness of scholarship.The author believes that academic rules are the foundation of the development of a discipline.If the academic community of higher education researchers does not attach importance to the establishment of academic rules,the discipline cannot be further developed and earn respect in academia,let alone fulfill its mission to serve the reform on higher education.
