摘　　要：本文对河南刘楼重晶石矿床地质特征、控矿地质条件均作了阐明,并对矿床成因作了简要分析。通过综合研究,笔者认为该区重晶石矿床类型为中、低温热液型脉状矿床,矿体赋存于寒武系中统张夏组碳酸盐地层中,矿体形态、规模及品位变化均受构造断裂带的控制。最后提出了在类似矿区寻找重晶石矿(体)的一些特征标志。Geological characteristics of Liulou barite deposit and its ore controlling geological conditions were illustrated and an initial analysis on deposit genesis was made in the paper.It is believed through the comprehensive research that the type of barite deposit in the area is low to moderate temperature hydrothermal vein type deposit and the orebodies occur in mid Cambrian Zhangxia Group carbonate strata,with the shape of the orebody,scale and grade variation all controlled by structure zone.Some characterized indicators for barite ore searching in similar areas were proposed at the end.
