摘　　要：从办馆宗旨、公民阅读权利和公共图书馆服务体系三方面，阐明为农村读者服务的重要意义，并从实践上提出县级图书馆的服务延伸到基层图书馆（室）和“农家书屋”的构想。This paper expounds the importance of servicing for rural readers from the three aspects of the tenet, citizen reading rights and the public library service system, and puts forward the idea of extending county-level library service to the primary -level library （room） and ＂Farm House＂. 2 Refs.
