摘　　要："三贴近"是十六大以后党中央对社会主义文化建设、对我国图书馆事业发展提出的新要求,图书馆要实现"三贴近",就要加强基层图书馆的建设,努力践行公共图书馆精神,担负起培养公民阅读习惯的重任。＂Being close to reality,daily life and mass＂ is a new requirement put forward by the Party Central Committee after the 16th Party Congress for the socialist cultural construction and the development of our country＇s library？ career.The libraries,which want to realize the target of ＂being close to reality,daily life and mass＂,must strengthen the construction of basic-level library,practice hard the spirit of public library,and shoulder the important task of cultivating the good reading habits of the people.
