摘　　要：建筑防火是消防科学技术的一个重要领域．而防火涂料又是防火建筑材料中的重要组成部分。一个国家环保型涂料占全部涂料总量的程度，代表着这个国家科技发展的水平。在环保法规日益完善，人们对环境污染及人身健康日益重视的今天，挥发性有机化合物含量很高的溶剂型涂料的使用受到越来越严格的限制，建筑防火涂料引起了人们极大的重视。根据建筑防火涂料功用特点、使用范围及市场前景，研究了建筑防火涂料的阻燃机理及建筑防火涂料的组成与分类；介绍了几种典型的建筑防火涂料；以及新近开发研制的环境友好型建筑防火涂料。fire protection, fire an important area of science and technology, and fire retardant coating is an important component of building materials.
