摘　　要：生态经济是有利于地球的经济构想,是一种能够维系环境永续不衰的经济,已成为许多国家及地区实施可持续发展的新潮流。宁夏回族自治区面临着生态脆弱与经济持续跨越发展的双重挑战,为了实现持续跨越发展,必须选择生态经济发展模式。超常规的生态经济发展模式,是宁夏摆脱"脆弱—贫困"恶性循环、实现持续跨越发展的必然抉择。Eco-economy is an assumption which is beneficial to earth and it is uphold the environment forever. It has been a new tide for many countries to carry out sustainsble development. Based on the in - depth analysis on double challenges of eco-enviroonroental vulnerability and pov-erty sgainst the development of Ningxia in the new decades, the author put forwards the unconventional sustainable development strategy： ＂eco-economic development strategy＂, under which Ningxia could break the vicious circle of eco-environmental vulnerability and poverty, and achieving its sustainable development goal. The author especially discusses the connotation and routes of the eco-economic development strategy and gives and policy suggestions to promote the sustainable development in Ningxia.
