摘 要:促红细胞生成素(EPO)是一类肽类激素,其主要功能是在机体缺血缺氧的应激条件下刺激骨髓红系造血祖细胞的分化、成熟,最终转变为成熟红细胞。随着对EPO及其受体在其他方面的作用及作用机制的认识越来越深入,EPO的临床应用价值特别是非造血系统中的临床应用价值越来越大。同时随着重组人EPO合成技术的不断提高,EPO已广泛应用于临床治疗并取得了显著的疗效。现就EPO的生化特性、作用机制、非造血生物学作用和临床研究现状进一步论述EPO在骨组织损伤和骨科手术方面的临床应用价值和前景。Erythropoietin(EPO) is a peptide hormone and its main function is known to regulate the hematopoietic system in response to ischemia and hypoxia.EPO promotes bone marrow erythroid progenitor cells to differentiate,maturate,and ultimately transform into mature red blood cells.With the more understanding of the mechanisms of EPO and erythropoietin receptor,the clinical use of EPO has been increasing especially in nonhematopoietic system.The continuous improvement in human recombinant EPO synthesis technology also allows the wide use of EPO in clinical practice showing significant effectiveness.This article reviews the biochemical properties,mechanisms of action,nonhematopoietic effects,and current clinical use of EPO in aiming to highlight the clinical use and prospect of EPO in treatment of bone injury and orthopedic surgery.
