摘　　要：随着Internet的发展，XML成为在网络上用于数据描述和数据交换的新的标准。因此，如何对XML数据进行索引和查询就变的十分重要，并且也成为近些年来在该领域研究的热点。本文在介绍XML及其数据模型的同时，对几种查询和更新技术作了简要的叙述。With the development of Intemet, XML has exchange on the Web. been a new standard for data representation and data how to index and query XML data has become very important; and has been a research focus in the field. In this paper, we not only simply introduce the XML and its data models, but also discusse several kinds of technologies of query and update.
