摘　　要：中医药治疗老年痴呆具有明显的优势,且从痰论治本病具有鲜明的特色。文章从病因病机、辨证分型、选用方药、体质特征及化痰药物作用机制的现代研究等方面进行了评述,提出应将痰邪作为本病的研究专题,在诊断和治疗方面可以痰邪为中心进行客观化和标准化研究,在痰邪致病的作用机制方面应积极探索现代医学客观指征,以期丰富中医药辨治老年痴呆的内容和提高临床疗效。The treatment of Chinese medicine for senile dementia has obvious effect and the treatment from phlegm is a feature.This article review from causes,pathological,syndrome types,drugs,constitution and pharmacology of dementia in relation with phlegm,and proposed that the phlegm can be considered as the main cause of dementia,so it can be thought as the core of objective and standardized research on diagnosis and treatment,and exploring object indicators of pathogenesis so as to enrich the content of Chinese medicine treatment and improve the clinical efficacy.
