摘　　要：三峡工程是“千年大计、国运所系”的跨世纪工程。工程的质量、寿命、运行可靠性和检修维护费用，取决于多学科技术的发展水平。对表面工程技术在三峡工程机电设备和金属结构工程上的应用进行了全面的讨论和分析，对三峡工程机电设备、金属结构表面预处理、表面涂覆技术和产品提出了技术要求。The Three Gorges project is one across the century. It will operate for thousands years and affect the future China. It's quality, reliability and especially life -span and cost formaintenance will be dependent on the technologies applied. Tte application of surface technology to electromechanical and metal works is discussed in this article. The requirements for the surface pre-treatment and coating technology of mechanical and electrical equipment and steel structures for the Three Gorges Project are glven here.
