摘　　要：苗族民间医药是苗族社会生活中长期积累起来的一套乡土知识体系。本文以贵州省平塘县新塘乡为例,就这种民族传统医药在贫困地区所发挥的作用进行介绍和分析,结合作者在开展和推广普及民族民间医药工作中存在的问题提出了一些参考建议。The folk medicine of Miao Nationality is an ethnic system of folk knowledge nurtured in the long history of social development.This paper takes Xintang Village of Pingtang County in Guizhou Province as an example probing the function of the folk medicine in the poverty-stricken areas and gives some effective suggestions on commence and promotion of popularization of ethnic and folk medicine.
