摘　　要：文中从为什么要建设管理信息系统起笔,首先介绍了管理信息系统的概念、目标、焦点和主要功能;然后结合工程设计企业的实践开发经验,研究了国内工程设计企业构建管理信息系统的失败根源;接着又从组织、技术、人才、计算机与管理的关系等多方面指出了当前建设亟待解决的主要问题;之后论述了建设成功信息系统的实践经验,指出信息系统建设成败主要取决于管理而不是信息技术本身等思考;最后介绍了J公司管理信息系统的功能总体架构。First of all,put forward a question why to construct management information system and introduce the concept,target,focus and main function of MIS.After the anatomy of failure reasons and current problems of constructing management information system in domestic engineering design enterprise,review some experience and think about how to construct successful information system based on practice.At last,analyze function framework of J enterprise management information system.
