REVIEW AND PROSPECTS OF COAL GASIFICATION TECHNOLOGY FOR AMMONIA SYNTHESIS PLANTS IN CHINA

摘  要:评述了近年来煤气化领域的最新进展;提出了对改造或新建合成氨厂的具体建议,即对于小型合成氨厂, 可以采用连续气化代替间歇气化、气化型煤代替无烟煤 (或焦炭) 或选用循环流化床气化炉; 对于中型合成氨厂, 可以采用连续气化或气流床气化技术; 对于大型合成氨厂,则采用气流床气化技术、流化床气化燃烧一体化技术或者采取Lurgi炉和湿法气流床(如Texaco炉) 联用的方法.The advanced coal gasification technology is one of the most important factors for hundreds of fertilizer plants in China, based upon the investigation on current status of synthetic ammonia sector. Therefore, the latest development of coal gasification processes was reviewed in this paper. According to coal resource of China and production scale of the plants, some of proposals were put forwards for the renovation of the existing installations and the arrangement of new plants, i.e.(1) taking the place of periodic process by continuous one for the out of date atmospheric fixed bed gasifiers, using briquette as feed instead of lump anthracite or coke or choosing the circulating fluidized bed gasification technology for small sized plants,(2) replacing periodic process by continuous one or using the entrained bed gasification technology for medium sized plants and (3) selecting the entrained bed gasification technology, the integration process of fluidized bed gasification and combustion or the combination of Lurgi fixed bed and Texaco entrained bed coal gasifiers for large sized plants.
