摘　　要：《献给爱米莉的玫瑰》是美国南方文学代表—福克纳的力作,是以出身贵族世家的爱米莉的生活为中心的一个讽喻故事,反映了南方庄园经济文化的没落与消亡。此文拟从解构主义的视角来阐释女主人公爱米莉及玫瑰的隐喻意义。＂A Rose for Emily＂,William Faulkner＇s masterpiece which is a kind of allegory,centers on the whole life of Emily who comes from a noble family,reflecting the decline and the extinction of the Southern Manorial Economy and culture.This thesis intends to interpret the metaphorical meanings of Emily and the rose from the perspective of deconstruction.
