摘　　要：古籍托管是指基层图书馆将无力保护的古籍通过相关法律程序在其产权不变的情况下无偿地委托给省级图书馆代为保管。这既有利于保护古籍,减轻基层馆的负担,还能节省人力和财力,使古籍得以充分利用。然而,在古籍托管的实施过程中存在省馆为难或基层馆抵触等矛盾。这就要求各级图书馆在树立相互配合、统筹全局思想的同时积极争取相关职能部门的支持。The trusteeship of ancient books is that local libraries trust ancient books which they couldn＇t provide adequate protection to provincial libraries freely in the case of the same property, according to relative legal procedure. The trusteeship of ancient books not only contributes to protecting ancient books and reducing the burden of local libraries, but also could save the human and financial resources and make full use of ancient books. However, during its implementation, there may be such contradictions as putting the provincial libraries in dilemma or local libraries in conflictive mood. Therefore, libraries at all levels should establish coordinate efforts, and win supports from relevant functional departments.
