摘　　要：分隔性是中国古典园林的首要表现特征之一,是古典造园的基础和必要手段,它主要表现为园的内外分隔、人与自然的分隔、人与人的分隔。这三个方面的分隔相互联系和相互作用。通过与西方古典园林多方面的比较和分析,对中国古典园林分隔性进行全局、系统地研究,揭示其表现形式及产生的原因和历史文化背景,有利于人们了解中西方古典园林存在的本质差异,更重要的是有利于现代设计师透过事物的表面现象,发现和了解中国古典园林的本质特征,促进人们在当代的园林设计中继承和发扬传统园林的精华,创造与现实环境相吻合的、符合人们需要的优秀设计。As an essential characteristic and the basis of Chinese classical gardens,the separability is mainly reflected in three interrelated and interacted aspects： separation in and out of the garden,between man and nature,and between man and man.With a wide range of comparison to and analysis on Western classical gardens,a comprehensive and systematic study has been done to reveal the manifestations and origin as well as historical and cultural backgrounds of the separability in Chinese classical gardens.It is helpful to better understand the essential differences between Chinese classical gardens and Western classical gardens.More importantly,the study helps modern designers to discover and understand the spirit instead of the appearance of Chinese classical gardens,and promote excellent contemporary designs which inherit and develop the traditional spirit to meet the circumstances and people＇s needs.
