摘　　要：发展低碳经济并实现可持续发展是保护环境、调整经济结构和产业结构、实现经济增长的重要契机。作者回顾了工业革命以来的经济发展,并对高碳经济发展模式下产生的问题进行反思,提出了可持续发展与低碳经济是解决城市环境污染、生态多样性减少的必由之路。对低碳经济的内涵及实现途径进行了探讨,并深入调研了上海世博会对低碳经济和可持续发展的实践。Low carbon economy and sustainable development of- fered a good chance to the protection of environment, the modula- tion of economy and industrial patten, and the realization of economy growth. The development of economy from Industrial Revolution was reviewed, the problems of high-carbon economy pattern were introspected, thus low carbon economy and sustainable development seem to be the only way which can solve the problem of environmental pollution and ecology diversity reduction. The intension of low carbon and pathways to realize low carbon were discussed, and its practise in Shanghai EXPO was investigated.
