摘 要:初盛唐人对孟子的接受,主要表现于引述孟子的言论来佐证自己的观点。中晚唐人发展为对孟子的学说进行专题讨论,显示出对孟子更高的兴趣。其中,韩愈崇孟最具推动力。韩愈自身的儒教学养及其欲以道统自振一代的抱负和理想是其崇孟的学缘基础,而其崇孟的根本原因,在于孟子的思想可以为中唐存在的各种社会问题提供疗救的药方。韩愈以孟子的君臣之论反对藩镇分裂,以孟子的心性说为排佛的思想武器,其目的都是为了巩固大一统的封建君主秩序,维护国家的统一。The acceptance of MENG Zi by the scholor-officials in the Tang Dynasty was mainly represented in testifying their own ideas by quoting MENG Zi's speech at the beginning of the Tang Dynasty.But holding forums to discuss his ideas later in the dynasty showed their great interest for MENG Zi.In particular,HAN Yu's reverence to Menzi was of great importance.HAN Yu's accomplishments on Confucianism and the ambition of revitalizing his generation by morality were the basis of his reverence to MENG Zi.Yet the primary reason was that MENG Zi's ideas were a kind of healing powers in solving various social issues of the time for consolidating the feudal order and maintaining the unity of the country.
