摘　　要：上海新舞台是中国第一个新式舞台,潘月樵、夏月珊兄弟等在此编演了大量的时装新戏,这些戏内容上宣传革命和自由思想,舞台布景上力求真实,演出上唱少白多。百年过去了,这股戏曲改良的思潮还一直影响着我们,新舞台的戏曲改良运动成败得失至今还值得我们去认真思考。The Shanghai New Stage is China＇s first new-style stage on which were performed many fashionable plays by Pan Yueqiao and Xia Yueshan brothers that helped promulgate the thought of revolution and freedom.The stage was characterized by its vivid stage setting,and the performances were featured more by dialogues than singing.One hundred years has passed,but the trend of innovative thought has still been influencing us.Whether the movement was a success or failure is still worth our serious consideration.
