摘　　要：马克思·韦伯强调用科学、精确的方法去调查新闻业,让新闻业在一个不断理性化的世界中承担起社会责任,促进信息与观点的交流沟通。同时,韦伯的精英思想也让他对新闻记者这个职业充满了期待。韦伯的新闻思想当然也有其历史局限性,但对娱乐新闻泛滥、新闻记者的社会责任意识越来越淡薄的当代新闻业而言,无疑是富有警醒与借鉴意义的。Max Weber had been taking part in various kinds of journalistic activities during his lifetime, realizing the important functions of the press and put much emphasis on investigating the press with scientific methods. The elite thoughts of Weber made him quite optimistic to the profession, hoping that journalists could play an important role as political leaders and lead the corrupting society to a healthy and dynamic world.
