西部贫困山区教育投资对经济增长的影响——以贵州省毕节地区为例

摘　　要：利用贵州省毕节地区1988—2008年教育投资和国内生产总值数据,分析中国西部贫困山区教育投资对经济增长的影响。结果显示,在奠定基础阶段,教育投资对经济增长没有显著作用;在初级发展阶段,教育投资对经济增长有促进作用,但是显著性水平不高。最后提出相关政策建议。This paper analyzed the impact of investment in education on economic growth in Western poor mountainous areas of China by using the data of investment in education and GDP from 1988 to 2008 in Bijie region of Guizhou Province.The results show that in the foundation stage,investment in education has no significant impact on economic growth;in the initial development stage,human resource has a positive impact on economic growth which is not very significant.Finally,it put forward some relevant policy recommendations.
