摘　　要：采用问卷和实地调查法,对苏州市实施农民体育健身工程现状进行调查与研究。结果表明,苏州全市已在51个乡镇建成了高标准的健身活动中心,村级"农民体育健身工程"达1159个,实现了乡镇"体育健身中心"和村村建有"农民体育健身工程"的宏伟目标,但也存在着基层体育组织薄弱、健身设施损坏无人管理维修等诸多问题,并在此基础上,提出了未来苏州市农民体育事业发展对策。The author in this article conducts an investigation and study on the present situation of farmers＇ athletic sports project in Suzhou city through the ways of questionnaire and investigation.The study shows that high-standard sports centers have been established in 51 towns throughout Suzhou.Furthermore,there are more than 1 159 projects for farmers＇ sports and physical exercises in villages.They have achieved the attainments of ＂sports centers＂ established in towns and ＂farmers＇ sports projects＂ carried out in each village.However,there also appear many problems such as the poor sports organizations and lack of management and maintenance of sports facilities.Based on the above-mentioned facts,the author here puts forward the policy and strategy for the future sports development of farmers in Suzhou city.
