摘　　要：艰苦奋斗是邓小平荣辱观的重要内容之一。艰苦奋斗是中国共产党赢得胜利的重要因素,是社会主义建设事业取得胜利的重要精神支柱。艰苦奋斗就要加强思想政治工作,禁止对任何东西的破坏和浪费,就要倡导以艰苦的劳动创造幸福生活,就要弘扬艰苦创业精神,就要反对干部特殊化,坚决惩治腐败。弘扬邓小平艰苦奋斗思想是全面建设小康社会,实现社会主义现代化的需要,是构建社会主义和谐社会的需要,有利于现代青年健全人格的培养,是预防腐败的利器。Plain living and hard working is one of the important contents of Deng Xiaoping＇s concept of honor and disgrace. It is the important factor of CPC winning victories and the important spiritual prop for achievements in socialist construction cause as well. Taking it as honor means the efforts to strengthen ideological political work, prohibit extravagance of and damage to anything, create a happy life with hard labor, promote hardworking and enterprising spirit, oppose privilege-seeking, and fight and punish corruption. Promoting Deng Xiaoping＇s thought on taking plain living and hard working as honor is the need for constructing a well-off society in an all-around way, realizing socialist modernization and building a socialist harmonious society as well as the sharp weapon against corruption and the boon to cultivation of healthy personality of modem youths.
