摘　　要：谚语是该民族的文化观念和意识形态在该民族语言中投射的现象,是语言与文化交融后的产物,因而谚语自然被染上了该民族独特的文化观念和意识形态的色彩。通过对"猫"在中日谚语文化的比较,有助于我们全面、科学地看待和理解中日两国的历史文化、思想差异,缩短文化差异带来的距离,更好地掌握和运用语言。Proverbs are one of old sayings,a product of society, economy and thoughts.Proverbs are also considered a cultural encyclopedia,the result of wisdom,reflecting the practical experience of working people＇s lives.Comparison of cats in Chinese and Japanese proverbs will help us to look upon and understand differences of the two countries＇ histories,cultures and thoughts so as to shorten the difference and better grasp and use the two languages.
